Scot Ray's "Earth Circuit"

My talented friend Scot Ray has released a new album of hauntingly beautiful soundscapes entitled "Earth Circuit". Scot is a composer and instrumentalist of the highest order. His forays on all manner of stringed instruments are nothing short of dazzling. I contributed some muted trumpet to the project ("Internal Orbit" and "Final Curtain").

http://www.cdbaby.com/AlbumDetails.aspx?AlbumID=ScotRay1

The big news is that we finished my lovely wife Joselyn's excellent new album "Chance for Rain". I had the pleasure of producing. Check it out. www.joselynwilkinson.com. 2009 was a busy year for me. Aside from my work on the album, I edited two independent films, one of which is a fantastic interview with the great trumpet player Arturo Sandoval. Hopefully the film will soon find it's way out to the public. My work on The Simpsons continues (thank God). I'm often called on by friends to play trumpet on their projects, which I love to do. I'm determined to do a little of my own music again soon. It's been awhile since "Blue Talk".
